Assistant General Manager

We are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join a well-established Wine Bar & Restaurant in Central London.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys being hands-on and has a genuine interest in wine.

Working closely with the General Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day running of the venue, lead the team from the floor and ensure a consistently high standard of service.

The Role:

• Support the General Manager with the day-to-day running of the venue
• Lead, motivate and develop the front-of-house team
• Deliver excellent service and a great guest experience
• Help drive sales and overall business performance
• Support with recruitment, training and team development
• Assist with stock control and operational standards
• Build strong relationships with regular and new guests

About You:

• Previous experience as an Assistant General Manager, Assistant Manager or strong Supervisor
• Experience within a quality restaurant, wine bar or similar hospitality environment
• A genuine interest in wine – good wine knowledge would be an advantage
• Confident leading and motivating a team
• Commercially aware and comfortable driving sales
• Hands-on, personable and passionate about hospitality

The Package:

• £32,500 basic salary
• Share of tronc – OTE £45,000+ depending on location
• Central London
