Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Group Account Director who will be managing a group catering contract for this corporate client.

The Group Account Director will be responsible for managing relationships with stakeholders across their 8 sites in the Midlands. Providing first-line confidence in all discussions demonstrating value and exceeding expectations.

  • Take overall responsibility of ensuring the client contracts are operating within contractual terms.
  • Develop strong, deep, wide-reaching client relationships, continually working to exceed their expectations.
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to operational teams to grow and maintain a high-performing culture.
  • Ensure the contracts perform to budget and achieve their unit business plan and financial performance.
  • Monitor and measure contractual and internal KPI’s and SLAS, identify and develop continuous improvements.
  • Identify growth and efficiency opportunities through innovation.
  • Development and management of labour strategy in line with contract specifications
  • Support the sales team to develop financially sound bids and proposals through to sign off on contracts.
  • Play a key lead role in the retention of the contract and develop a strategy for growth.
  • Ensure ongoing strategic development of current accounts to generate new business.
  • Scope & lead mobilisations of new business, working alongside the Sales, Mobilisation, Technology and Innovation teams to provide workable solutions to meet and exceed client and customer expectations, managing the financials and creating a long-lasting partnership from day 1.
  • Drive and implement strategies to develop, train, maintain and motivate direct team down to frontline to deliver business requirements.
  • Ensure succession planning and development plans are in place for direct reports by you and by your team for the tiers below.
  • Ensure that management continually develop, implement and monitor activities that will enhance team development and engagement and loyalty.
  • Oversee and lead of management of HSE relating to the contract and teams ensuring the statutory requirements are met.

About You:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience at a senior management experience leading and inspiring operational teams, working within brand guidelines to deliver results
  • Strategic and creative thinker, with the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Have a proven track record of client/customer satisfaction.
  • Dynamic, innovative, and fast-paced leader
  • Display a natural passion for food and customer service.
  • Developed and led an implementation of change programme to deliver operational benefits
  • Experience in highly commercial and price-sensitive markets
  • Track record of growing sales and retaining business
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proactive, can-do attitude and approach
  • Experience of managing complex and multiple stakeholder relationships
  • Demonstrable financial acumen
