Lucy originally trained in art and design, however she decided to pursue a career as a Chef after hearing her parent’s stories of their careers in the London hospitality scene of the 70’s and 80’s.

Having started in a contract catering site with Elior, she realised she wanted to pursue her passion for pastry and was offered an opportunity at the 5 Star Langham Hotel, where she worked for 2 years, spending time within the different pastry teams, including the fine dining restaurant, Roux @ Landau.

With her honed patisserie skills, Lucy returned to contract catering with Restaurant Associates at Clifford Chance, where she went on to oversee the pastry section and worked on events for up to 900 covers.

Lucy’s role at Collins King is her first within recruitment, she is looking forward to utilising her kitchen background and knowledge in this next chapter of her hospitality career.

Lucy is originally from South Yorkshire but now classes herself equally a Londoner, having spent over half her life in the capital. Outside of work, you’ll mainly find her dabbling with growing veg and or back in the kitchen.
