Sous Chef

To support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team of this popular restaurant British influenced all day dining restaurant and events venue, in a unique location.

  • Paid overtime
  • Reasonable start/finish times

As Sous Chef, you’ll be instrumental in the overall running of the kitchen, overseeing services for up to 100 covers + a variety of standing and seated functions.

You’ll work with quality ingredients and work collaboratively on the changing a la carte and special menus.

What we’re looking for in a Sous Chef

Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef within a busy fresh food restaurant is needed, with sound knowledge of classic British/European cuisine.

An inspiring leader who will mentor, develop and help to retain a close-knit team of 6-8 Chefs.

Good financial awareness with experience of ordering and rota writing. Proficient training in Food Safety, Health & Safety and HACCP.

Availability to work a mixture of shifts, including weekends.
