The role of Junior Sous Chef

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior Sous Chef to join a recently opened restaurant near Liverpool Street, working closely with an experienced Executive Chef and Founder who are very passionate about sustainability, innovative flavour combinations, and fermentation.

·48 hours/7 shifts per week.

As Junior Sous Chef, you’ll be instrumental in the overall running of the kitchen, overseeing fast-paced services for up to 150+ covers.

You’ll work with exceptional ingredients to cook quality, fresh dishes that are well thought out.

The Person

Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef within high-end restaurants is needed, it’s a more relaxed vibe than many fine-dining establishments.

You will need to be a foodie and passionate about using the best produce.

An inspiring leader who will mentor, develop and help to retain a close-knit team of Chefs.

Your organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail will be vital in maintaining excellence.

Good financial awareness with experience of ordering and rota writing. Proficient training in Food Safety, Health & Safety and HACCP.
