Assistant General Manager

About this role

An iconic classic British restaurant set to open early next year in central London and is looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager to join the team. The site will have two restaurant spaces with over 250 covers in total, a private dining room, and a late-night bar.

You’ll be working alongside the General Manager to run the day-to-day operation, lead and motivate a large team, and make sure the service is consistently strong across all areas. This is a seven-day business, 48 hours across 5 days, so it needs someone confident, present on the floor, and comfortable in a high-volume environment.

• Experienced in large, high-volume restaurants or multi-outlet venues
• A confident leader with a strong floor presence
• Warm, approachable and guest-focused with a big character
• Organised and calm under pressure, with strong people management skills
• Motivated by the challenge of a major opening and ready to make an impact from day one
