Description: Independent contract catering company recently acquired prestigious commercial site in the City of London and are searching for an experienced Senior Sous Chef. The historic venue has an a 40 seater restaurant with a modern a la carte menu, all day café menu with takings up to £2.5k daily and capacity for function and events, recent numbers up to 200 for canapé receptions. The restaurant is lunch service only, 7 days per week with an afternoon tea service, café open until 5pm daily and regular event work for lunch and evenings. The Head Chef is looking for a chef who is an all rounder with well rounded skills, passionate, top end restaurant experience along with some events background but are flexible to work and oversee the café operation. Need to be a team leader. Total brigade of 7 chefs + 2 kitchen porters.

You will be required to work in the 50 seat a la carte restaurant and assist with private parties for up to 60 covers, serving a range of modern British cuisine. You will be required to work 7 shifts per week with the club being closed on Sundays and Saturday daytimes.
