A very different type of sous chef opportunity has arisen which is not your usual type of chef vacancy!

We are looking for a sous chef within a training venue for a sports team who can work within a close knit team and cater for all the needs of the staff on site.

The venue is going through a building process with a new state of the art department to house the staff on site and visitors to the centre. Currently the restaurant will serve around 180 covers daily plus external requirements.

The position will include:

Some travel

Menu design

Working with a team of 5 chefs and KP’s

Closely working with the team on site

Looking at dietary and nutritional requirements

The background the sous chef will ideally come from would be hotels or commercial venues plus some experience of quality fine dining. You must have a stable background and be prepared for personal and background referencing due to the nature of the environment.

This would suit a very strong sous chef who is looking to progress and has been at this position for at least 2 years.

Flexibility is required in regards to working hours due to the business but generally it will be working 5 out of 7 days and generally starting around 7/8am and finishing 5/6pm.

A good salary of up to £35k is on offer plus some company benefits.
