Overview

My client is a corporate head office in the City that has gone through an extensive refurbishment in the past year of their client suite

The Client suite comprises of a modern 30 cover dining room that operates through breakfast, lunch and dinner and a number of private dining rooms that can each accommodate 12 – 15 covers

The hospitality team is now looking to employ a Sommelier who will be responsible for suggesting to their clients the perfect pairing to enhance their culinary experience.

The Sommelier will prepare the wine lists and non-alcoholic cocktails, purchase orders, inventory and requisitions as well as monitoring stock levels and sales and suggest actions to improve sales and stock rotation.

Requirements

Profound knowledge of customer service and of all beverage products such as spirits, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic cocktails

Excellent communication skills

Experience in the London restaurant/hotel market – preferred

A Sommelier qualification equivalent to a WSET Level 2 or 3

Great customer service and communication skills

Immaculately presented

This is a Monday – Friday role with a salary up to £32,000
