Pastry Chef  – Monday to Friday

Pastry Chef to oversee the main pastry operation within this multi-site retail, restaurant, hospitality & fine dining business.

The venue comprises of a 1500 cover main food area offering pastry items from breakfast pots, healthy mid-morning pastry items through to lunch dessert offer and afternoon teas. The hospitality can produce pastry throughout the building from cakes, cookies through to prestigious fine dining and plated dessert choice.

The pastry chef will manage the pastry section alone with assistance from head chef when required.

Any potential pastry chef will be able to demonstrate:

 

A high passion for pastry

Stable background with valid references

The desire to work hard and create excellent pastry menus

Understanding of the pastry section and the requirements of the building

At least a chef de partie pastry level

Salary of £25500

 

This is a leading caterer running the food offer and the potential candidate will have a lot of freedom on the section. In return there will be straight shifts, Monday to Friday working week with overtime paid for any evening functions.
