An excellent opportunity has become available for a sous chef or a strong chef de partie to work in the events and hospitality kitchen at this 5 star standard operation

The sous chef will be supporting a senior hospitality chef in the business.

This is a 5 out of 7 day working operation but the working week can beflexible depending on volumes of business. Excellent holiday time off ranging from 2 weeks at Easter, summer, Xmas and days off during the school holidays.

Brief on the sous chef role as follows:

Numbers will be from small lunch time or afternoon functions around the 300-600 mark up to large functions around the 3000 mark (Very rare)

The role is a busy one for the events. No Sundays generally.

The total brigade is around 17 chefs but hospitality is a team of 2 plus assistants when required.

The hospitality will manage hours depending on what functions are on. Generally a 7am start. Average finish is around 8pm.

Hours are used in lieu plus possible overtime

This a fantastic opportunity for a chef who wishes to express themselves within the hospitality sector. You will have input into new ideas, great produce and develop a working relationship with the senior chef.

Ideally a background in hotels or the commercial contract catering sector.

Parking is available on site and the building is a short distance from the train station. Ideally you need to live in the High Wycombe, Aylesbury, Maidenhead, Oxford and Hemel Hempstead areas.
