Head Chef required for our client, an expanding Cafe & Restaurant group specialising in Free Range, Organic Fresh Food. The Head Chef will work in well-equipped professional kitchens, with 3 sites already in London and further sites planned it is an exciting time to join. The Head Chef is joining at an exciting time, we like to build friendly and supportive teams. This restaurant has 150 seats but can turn over several times per day. Leading and mentoring a brigade of 7 Chefs on duty per service cooking fantastic crowd pleasing, simple seasonal food from high quality ingredients in a modern kitchen with a friendly team.  Will additionally oversee some production kitchen space where our team create some dishes for customers to take away.

Creating spec sheets and working with the Exec Chefs

Daily changing specials

Training Sous Chef, Chef de Parties and Commis Chefs

Ensuring that the stock is held at optimum levels to provide a clear GP

Manage staffing levels for efficient Mis en place and service

Ensuring kitchen is clean & tidy

 

Benefits:

Basic salary up to £35,000 – £40,000 & 10%  bonus
