We are looking for a head chef to take charge of this funky gastro pub and chop house restaurant in south London.
Located within a friendly and up market neighborhood, we have a strong local following. We are highly passionate about our food and want to find a head chef who can help us to develop and grow the business
We are offering a salary package of up to £35K + achievable bonus for the head chef, our kitchen team work 45-50 hours per week.
The Head chef will be responsible for a brigade of 5 chefs cooking for up to 60 covers per service. The Ideal head chef will be able to train and develop their team and control stock and ordering levels.
The head chef will have input into seasonal menu development and will be responsible for upholding the core menu standards.
We produce everything fresh on site in a small but well equipped kitchen including charcoal grill and rotisserie.
Our meats are all handpicked form the best farms and suppliers, we treat our meat with respect making it the star of the show cooking over open flames and charcoal ovens (Not a sous vide machine in site this is proper cooking)
This role would suit a 1st time head chef who has a strong restaurant background.
