Overview

We are looking for an Executive Chef for an exclusive restaurant business within the London scene that has been the recipient of many awards for best restaurants, best newcomer, best concept amongst others. It is a high profile brand with many plaudits over the last few years for its innovative ideas, concept and awareness in the current restaurant market.

The role is for the Executive chef of the group that currently stands at 4 restaurants with potential for more restaurant openings in the future.

The Executive Chef will lead a strong culinary team across the restaurants and be able to enforce new ideas for the business along with allowing chefs to be creative while following the menus already in place.

The Executive Chef needs to be both self-disciplined enough to work and manage their own time and priorities while able to work alongside the consultant chef on the development of the food and menus.

Reporting to the Managing Director the Executive Chef will assume all the day to day responsibilities including:

  • Supplier negotiations and liaison
  • Head chef management and development
  • Wage controls
  • Bespoke Menu Writing and seasonal menu updates

The restaurant offers unique menus over two dining areas over two floors – an upmarket grill offering choices from around the world focusing on prime meat source locations along with other elements to the menus. There will also be a natural food / raw fish bar focusing on small plates of fresh, healthy food with some Asian influences.

The kitchens are installed with all new equipment including paco jets, sous vide machines amongst others and will have 3 sections for the bar, restaurant and private dining concept.

A fantastic opportunity awaits a potential Executive Chef. They will be part of the business and have an impact of the food delivery as well as the social media exposure along with the food sales. To be considered the Executive chef must be in a previous high profile and managerial positions a chef within a group role, a large multi-site operation or a busy well-known restaurant company. They must have had exposure within the Michelin world at some level of their career coupled with trendy / up to date restaurant trends.

Salary on offer can be up to £80k with various perks and company benefits.
