We are recruiting for an Executive Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef to oversee this varied operation within a wonderful arena. It is a unique building and well known London Landmark.
The business comprises a restaurant that can serve around 70 covers lunch and up to 110 covers for dinner and all to a three rosette standard. There is lounge area with a casual dining style menu along with a bar and private dining facilities for corporate events.
The Senior sous / Executive Sous chef will report into an Executive Head Chef on site. They will have responsibilities for all food outlets and have a team of 23 chefs reporting into them. This is divided into a restaurant kitchen team, banqueting team, private dining team and pastry kitchen.
The Executive sous chef will be involved in tastings for new menus, client meetings, running the pass during restaurant & event service as well as assisting in the day to day running of the business.
Ideally the executive sous will have a background in a 5 star hotel or a high profile events company but with some time in career spent within one of London’s premier fine dining restaurants.
Working roughly 7 shifts per week with a healthy work / life balance.
Salary will be up to £39k plus good company benefits.
