Overview

We are looking for a competent Executive Chef with a high commercial knowledge to run a flagship food operation within the B&I sector.

You will be working for one of the leading global caterers and based at this prestigious company in the City of London.

The food operation comprises a retail offer serving around 300 to 400 covers daily. The building houses just shy of 1000 employees. The other part of the business is fine dining & events.

Retails offers Hot main course choices including street food style, hot salads, colourful and loud deli style along with cold counter sandwiches and salads.

Hospitality & fine dining: High-end rosette / Michelin star 3-4 course dining for lunch or dinner. Modern hospitality lunches from open platters, bowls/plates and working buffets.

There will be a team of 12 including 9 chefs and 3 kitchen porters

As an Executive Chef, you will already be in this position or a senior head chef level. You must have a background in the B&I retail & hospitality within one of the known contract brand names.

Also required is a good knowledge of business & finance within the food sector, computer literate, able to market new ideas in the restaurant and also be fully aware of current trends.

This is a Monday to Friday position offering sociable hours with occasional evening functions. Competitive salary of £45-47,000 per annum.
