Our client is an independent restaurant group in London with 4 unique venues. Consistently rated as one of London’s best independent operators, they have further plans for expansion in the coming year and are looking to enhance their already excellent team with some new and creative managers.
The Bar Manager will be responsible for a team of 6 bar staff working 7 shifts over 5 days – 2 doubles and 3 straight shifts – and not working more than 48 hours a week, with two days off back to back. This is a busy venue with average sales of £80’000 a week. The Bar Manager will bring quality experience to the venue with a strong understanding of wines, craft beers and quality cocktail knowledge and spirits. Creating your own recipes and training the team, the Bar Manager will have full responsibility for the following:
- Stock and cellar management
The Bar Manager must demonstrate previous experience managing a quality bar operation within
a busy independent venue. Cocktail knowledge is important as is the ability to manage and motivate others.
