Summer is almost here and you can taste the sunny fresh flavors bursting through the clouds in this months produce.
The sight of strawberries and cream coupled with the fresh green grass at Wimbledon signals the start of summer, but it’s just not tennis! Cherries, raspberries, broad beans, tomatoes and fresh peas are all at their very best and unmissable in June.

If we were asked to create a menu it would include dishes such as:

Fresh mackerel ceviche with peppery watercress salad
~
Roast loin of lamb with peas, lettuce and bacon
~
Strawberry pannacotta with Champagne jell and edible flowers

 

Summer is on its way and June is filled with food and sport.

As the temperature soars this month you may well be dreaming about relaxing in one of London’s trendy bars or in a beer garden watching the world cup or Royal Ascot, whilst instead you are behind a hot stove. Tell us, where would your ultimate day off escape be?

The 2018 Taste of London festival in Regent’s Park, runs from 13th to 17th June.
